These are NOT colleges.....not even close. They're low class private schools run by Chinese with a few Canadians thrown in as window dressed lackeys who do the actual dirty work. Contracts are worthless, issues are only resolved in their favor, and the best school is akin to the Black Hole of Calcutta, and other sites go downhill from there.

Ease up. Maybe it was bad a while ago, but it's certainly a good place to work now. Contracts are honoured, they take care of you, good social atmosphere.

It's not a college, that's for sure. But most schools in China are misnamed. I'm sure you can live with it.

PM me and tell me which school you're going to. I might be able to tell you more, or tell you who works where. |

I seems like SOP on this board is for a OP to ask for an opinion...one will be given by a member...then the rest of the thread will be the total disagreement with someones opinion as to how they are being treated by a school...as I have said before ..each FTs experience is different...I tend to think that anytime a bad situation comes to a head in a Chinese school..there is an opportunity for another FT to come in to this situation and make it profitable and workable...make a bad situation into an advantage..

OP I would take Outsider up on his offer to give additional help...then make up your mind... |

Thanks, CJ. Yes, and we should ignore psychoanalysing wannabes like malsol trying to diagnose me with Stockholm Syndrome. Perhaps malsol needs his issues addressed more, since he denies that there can be anything good about the place.

I didn't say it was great... but it is okay.
