This is a very low salary and the holidays are too short by any Saudi standard. This is a bad deal and anyone considering it would be encouraging the employers to continue such offers. If job seekers have an MA or if they have a BA plus experience and certification, and can make a reasonably favorable impression, they can do much better than this. These salaries are just going to attract the desperate or uneducated. They need educated English teachers in Saudi Arabia much more than we need jobs.

The salary offered in Madinah, is generally, much lower than anywhere else in the Kingdom. Most of the teachers go there for religious reasons, hence, the salary amount and the length of vacation doesn't bother them. |

Lowering salaries isn't fair just because its in Madinah, nor is it very ethical. Accepting such a salary without protest sends the message that teachers are willing to work for less in the whole of the country. Besides one can easily go to Makkah or Madinah on the weekends or holidays from another city in KSA. As long as the teachers take the bad package, the longer the employer will take advantage of their close proximity to Holy places...not a very holy practice at all. |

The salaries offered in Makkah and Madinah have always been lower than anywhere else in the Kingdom. Most people who take such jobs don't have the credentials for the higher paying jobs, hence, they accept such offers without protest. |

that isn't necessarily true. previously, there were positions open for taibah university and they offered more than 6000. and they didn't hire anyone without the credentials they were looking for. |

The person who put the advertisement on, is hiring for a language centre and Taibah University. He is a like a recruitment consultant, that's the package he's offering, for both the language centre and Taibah University positions. |

Your offer must have been from Taibah University itself. The package is always much lower when it's via a middle man. |
