I am a US Fulbright Scholar due to arrive into Oman next week. I am trying to figure out which VoIP service will work in Oman and what I may need to do/buy/download before I leave the US. I had purchased Vonage only to find out that it is blocked! I read previous posts concerning Skype; however, the posts are a little outdated. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on this issue....if necessary, feel free to send me a private message.

Hi ehaun,
I have been using Skype here in Salalah with no problem. Hope Omantel doesn' kill it off as they did with Vonage!  |
