Hi everyone,
I have recently been offered a job at University College, Yanbu. Does anyone know whether there are childcare facilities available on campus (Women's campus) or atleast within easy reach of the campus?
Thanks in advance,
Grace. |

Hello Grace, I'm currently at Uni College Yanbu, female section. We are a very new college and as such, we don't have an official type of creche/childcare facilities set up. One of our staff brings her baby to college with her and has a 'nanny' with her to look after the baby. I don't know of any facilities near our campus either. Marlene |

This is off topic, but I'd like to ask a question. What are the students like in the women's section there at UCY? That is where I'm supposed to be this fall and I've had little luck finding info about it.
Thanks |

Hi, I find the girls to be very nice. They're well groomed and friendly and eager to know about things from the 'west'. I enjoy teaching them and we have a lot of fun. My working colleagues are also a good team. |

I don't have kids myself, but all of the families I know - both Saudi and ex-pat - arrange their own childcare. The kids are looked after either by family members or by nannies. I don't think creches or US-style 'daycare' faciilites are very common, though I'm willing to be corrected on this. |
