Well, we are all back at work, and things are so hectic here, no offices, and now the drive to Khalifa City, it horrible. Our Ramadan hours are not better, 9 am till 6 pm. Where is the justice in this! When will they ever get their act together? New campus, same old problems!! Exclamation Confused

I've heard other private places in the UAE are also not really running to a shortened 6 hour Ramadan schedule. The Petroeluem Institute, for example, has shortened classes by 5 minutes from 50 minutes down to 45 minutes, starts at the normal time of 8 am and finishes up at 4 pm instead of 5 pm. I suppose students learn best in the late afternoon when they are tired and are starting to suffer from food and water deprivation.....

As far as I know PI students behave well especially when they are junior or senior but those who attend foundation program may be little bit different because they are new high school gradaute and may still behave like high school students. Also, language barrier and misunderstanding could be another factor.

What about female students at PI? Did they start this fall? or still their campus is not ready? A friend of mine told me that some English teachers have no classes to teach this fall. is that true ? is PI foundation program overstaffed?

How is it that a thread to bring the board up to date on ADU has ended up being about PI students with nothing about ADU but the OP. Normally it takes a page or two before things get hijacked. Laughing

Perhaps you should ask this PI question on a new thread.

Yes VS but what exactly is the PI question...we do not want to get Wigwam started on how to get into the PI again Laughing and Buur's question re the females at the PI was answered the last time he asked it !. As far as the rumour that some Foundations staff have no classes I guess he should ask the friend who told him obviously they have the inside info on such things if they know how the students behave.
