The Minister of Education has decided that the buses will be free before 10 in the morning and again after school. But only for a week. How does that help students in the long run?

Perhaps he's hoping the money Mehmet and Ayse save on bus fare will be put toward something really extravagent, like pencils or erasers...maybe even paper.

Maybe that's why the roads haven't been so crowded. I think that they might be trying to encourage people to use more public transport. Which has to be a good thing.

Well, if the roads haven't been so crowded it's because my bus was a sardine can! Well, my bus is always crowded, but today was the worst.

Of course but why only do it for a week? The traffic will be just as bad next week.

Also, you you know that sliplane on the Asian side at the first bridge that is supposedly for IETT buses only but loads of cars use it.Why don't they have a camera there or a policeman issuing on the spot fines.
I guess that is too sensible. Remember Topbas's answer to solving the bridge traffic? A teleferik Rolling Eyes

I agree, it's crazy that people let things like that happen. See also: cars driving on tram lines and Trams getting stuck in traffic.

perhaps they'll start going for long runs - say, more than 10 metres, before collapsing into the nearest available cakeshop, going 'oof ya..'
