I'm flying to Taipei this week or early next. I'm an American, and I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the sixty day visa is 4400 baht, or about US$125--wow!
Anyway, I'll also have a bunch of excess baggage. Does anyone know if China Airlines strictly enforces the baggage limits--I'm about 16kg over.
I'm not a newbie, since I worked in Taiwan in 2000-2001. How's the job market these days? I have a TESOL Cert, a 4-year degree, and about six year of experience, but I'm on the old side.
