Hello Thailand people,
I'm finishing a contact in Korea and am going on a backpacking trip that will conclude in Thailand, after which I'll fly back to Denver, Colorado, US.
Right now, online, a one-way ticket to Denver for Dec. 19th (not the best date, I'm sure) is about $900. Here in Korea, travel agents tend to do a lot better than websites - is it the same way in Thailand? Can anyone refer a travel agent that I could work with over the phone, as I won't be in Thailand until November?

yes, there is a multitude ( should that be singular?) of competitive travel agents in the Khao san road/ soi Rambuttri area, I bought a ticket yesterday for a reasonable price but didnt get a businass card - hence no details. However I have email and phone for a company I HAVENT used ; They are called SUN and MOON travel and cargo tel: +662 6293336-37
