i didnt work for feifan, but i applied for a job. I got another opportunity. so i ended up not taking feifan's offer. anyway from my experience of meeting the staff in there several times, they seem very genuine and are very nice. Lili is the girl that i was talking with mostly. i also talked to an american teacher in there, who had no bad words to say. The school is small but well maintained and its in a good area. If you want to teach very young kids, and work weekends etc. you could do far worse. |

Hi Rivers,
I also spoke to Lilly as well. Thanks for the info. Since you were physically there, I can at least have a good feeling about the place. I am currently in the States so the only way for me to have any idea about these schools is from folks like yourself. Thanks again. |

Be wary of chinese with smiling faces though, they are often nicest right before they screw you, simple reality, so be wary. |

Rowberbear.
Just a note from the past. I'm not sure about now but a couple of years aga ALL teh foreign teachers walked out at once because of the way they were treated. Iwas asked to work there by the then DOs but I refused of course. I hope it has changed but as was previously said. You never know what will happen. Make sure they get you all teh legals required before accepting a job there...
Kidcastle. Expensive kids. Cheap school!!!!! They pay little to teach there but charge kids so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Funkymother,
Which school are you referring to that had teachers walk out? Dalian Feifan
Foreign Language School or Kidcastle Group? I was actually hearing some good things about Kidcastle since they have many branches.
Thanks. |

This happened at Feifan at Renmin Sq. Kidcastle is a really good place for kids but they just don't always understand about paying teachers...
If I had to chooses I would take Kid castle anytime but as you already know it does depend which branch you work ay,
Any other help then just ask. I am in Dalian and have been here for 4 year.
