Can anyone out there give me the low-down on working at IH Opole?
Any comments much appreciated. |

I used to work there. There is a new DoS working at IH Opole this year so that may change things a little. Basically, it's quite a small school - I think there will be 10 teachers this year. Part of the southern IH group so there should be good training. YL training should be good this year.
There's a satellite school in Prudnik down by the czech border - worth going to if you like driving although icy roads in winter aren't so much fun.
Its IH - it's safe. You'll be paid on time (not much but you'll be paid) and looked after. You get to do subsidised courses at Wroclaw if you want. Opole's a nice town - smallish but plenty of places to go. Mind you, three of the teachers who left last year have moved elsewhere in Poland with IH (Torun/Katowice) to be in bigger cities/schools so it depends what you like. |
