A simple question for a woman new to this city: where can I get a good hair cut and color in the Cihangir/Taksim/Galata area?

i dont know any exact places in these areas coz i live on the asian side, but in general the hairdressers in istanbul are good... at least better than those in bulgaria or spain Razz

just be careful and don't let them make u high contrast shades...i was very sorry once...didnt know the language yet and told the stylist to do whatever he thinks is best but havent realised all turks think blond is perfect, so i ended up with ginger shades Shocked

Hi - I found a good one in the metro city shopping centre in Levent.. only a short metro ride away. They even had a little section there where they did your nails and make up as well... I didn't opt for the make up though as it was pretty scary looking.. a bit pantomime dame-esque. I got some eyelash extensions though which were heaps cheaper than at home.
