...how are you to know what to do with your students? I asssume you don't just walk into the classroom and start babbling in English and hope they pick it up. See, I've done substitute teaching, but that was just glorified baby sitting. I never had to draw up any lesson plans. I just followed somebody else's instructions and the students pretty much already knew what they were supposed to do. |

Lots of FREE teacher training info written by an experienced teacher trainer.
Students do generally know what to do - but really the teacher should too! |

Get some real training where you are observed and critiqued. Your students will be paying real money for your classes, so you owe it to them to know (somewhat) what you are doing. How would you feel if you were taking a language class in the US and your teacher just "talked" and/or played games? You would complain loudly and demand your money back, right? |
