Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some advice and suggestions on this topic. The job that I am taking is going to be in Mexico City and I was hoping to drive there. Being from San Deigo, I have driven all through Baja and I would be more comfortable starting my trip there. My tentative plan thus far is driving through Baja to the tip and over to Mazatlan. From there I will be going the most logical route to Mexico City. Which is?

Questions:
1. Do you register for the interior at the boarder in Baja, or at the ferry?
2. Do you need to reserve a spot on the ferry?
3. What is the cost of the ferry?
4. Any suggestions on camp/rv/ sites on the way down?
5. What is a good insurance company?
