| Has anybody got one of the new fancy Digiturk boxes? They're supposed to be silver and a whole lot faster. Somebody I know in Istanbul has one and he says it makes a world of difference. I have ordered mine but it's taking forever to get here. I hate the current black box. It's soooo slow while I'm searching through the guide. |

Sort of connected.
It's been a while since I had digiturk. I am quite happy with Cable.
However, one of the highlights of my summer is the Tour de France. The best thing about it is the commentary.. in English. I reckon the Turkish Commentator on Eurosport has never even been on a bike.
So on the new digiturk can you change the language back to the original language? |

*Sorry for the thread hijack*
But....how much is Cable / Digiturk per month? Is it expensive as it is in the UK if you're wanting sports channels with all the bells and whistles? |

| It's cheap. I opted for the cinema packet and it's 40 something ytl. I also have a basice package in my kitchen which costs 7 ytl on promotion. If you want to watch the Turkish matches it's going to cost you around 70 something ytl. |

| Cable costs 5.20 ytl a month. Plus taxes it brings it up to 14 ytl. |

I think cable costs 14ytl for TWO months, not one. It is available in many areas but not all.
In addition to the normal Turkish stuff you get BBC Prime, BBC World, CNN and Eurosport in English, one channel in Italian, One French, One German, plus CNBC-e which has films etc in original languages and Turkish subtitles.
It used to be OK but since the detereoration of BBC Prime it's somewhat limited. Bring back the Learning Zone! I've e-mailed Prime to complain about the new schedules, has anyone else? |

| I really don't think there will be much point. The new schedule is crap. All the best things are on at the weekend so I end up missing them. In saying that I stayed in on Saturday night and watched the six episodes of League of Gentlemen. Classic. I love how all the episodes tie in with crash. |
