Has anyone done this sent suitcases from Australia to Istanbul by air to arrive after I have. Have been told I must pay 100 lira for paper work then go to customs. Don't know what happens after that. Anyone out there paid the 100 and then what happened or did you get out of the 100/
thanks everyone must have this info from Monday morning. |

If your stuff arrives after you it's counted as an import and must clear customs. You will pay more than 100 in the end if you try and do it your self. If you work with a customs agent then they do all the leg work for you and you only have to show up at the wharehouse near the airport to sign for your stuff.
Please note..... That things have gone missing before..... |
