Does anybody know of any places that would be good to apply to in either Progreso or Merida? I am looking at just going down there and applying in person, but wouldnt mind knowing if there are actually schools that are hiring or that do hire reasonably often. Thanks for the help! |

there`s nothing available here in Merida or Progresso at the moment. In fact there is nothing at all and won`t be for some time.
Your best bet is to think about coming here next July.
The northern part of the country has so many more job openings than here in the south. |

It would be helpful to know your qualifications and experience. Do you have a TEFL certificate and/or a degree in TESOL? How much experience have you had teaching EFL?
This is not a prime time to be job hunting. Jobs are few and far between at this time of year, but there are a few possibilities depending on what you're looking for. |
