I was wondering if most Japanese cities had a gym with a weight room. Obviously big cities like Tokyo, Osaka et al are going to have them, so I'm referring more to smaller cities (100,000-300,000 people). I don't require a lot of fancy equipment, just free weights and dumbells.

So you need access to weights and dumbells ? What kind of WEIRD addiction is that ?
And why are you posting here instead of on the Japan Forum ?

Well I figured it was a toss-up between physical fitness and crack. I chose the weights, and I stand by my choice Smile

I thought the Japan forum had to do with employment only

The Japan forum has more to do with Japan than the General forum has to do with Japan so why not take this to the Japan forum and stop bothering us in the General forum? Do you need a bloody map to find the Jap anese forum?
