This is such a cosmopolitan forum I wonder if anyone can give me an idea about teaching EFL in London.
I'm 54 and I work at the BBC. I have a 2.1 BA Eng Hons from London. I've never taught but I've researched a TEFL course.
Before I launch I realised it would be easy to presume that everyone comes to London to learn English and it would be relatively easy to find a teaching job.
Can anyone reinforce this idea or pour cold water on it for me?

Hi Martin,
I'd stay at the BBC if I were you. You won't make very much money starting out in TEFL in London. The better paying jobs only go to people with experience and higher TEFL qualifications.
