Really need some advice, but a little background info first.

I have a bachelor of business and a TESOL diploma. My bf has no degree, is over 30, and has a TESOL diploma. We land in Thailand in 3 1/2 weeks. We were told it was really easy to get jobs in Thailand, but you're better off looking over there, but these forums suggest otherwise.

We don't mind which of the four countries we work in, but we need to be earning decent money as we want to save for further travels. Which would be better? Also is it better to find a job once we're there? Which city is best?

This forum gets no action. The Cambodia forum is also worthless. Post your question in the Thai and Vietnam forums.

I've never worked in any of these coutries but I've read plenty.

Thailand= Getting strict

Laos= Unknown territory

Cambodia= Easy to get a job for both of you with a nice lifestyle, but not much for savings.

Vietnam= Your best bet.

Actually, I think Laos might be your best bet but I would start in Thailand. All of the countries are great. I've visited them all but not worked in them. I live about 2 months a year in Thailand. Don't expect much money and enjoy the lifestyle. Make sure you have real qualifications for Thailand as they are cracking down hard on this kind of thing according to the reports and you don't want to get deported. If you want to know more about teaching in Thailand check out www.thaivisa.com teaching threads.

Laos and Isaan in Thailand are surreal. I would go and live there in a shot if I won the lottery.

Not much of a job market in Laos. I think it would get boring quickly.
