Quick question- does anyone have any experience of teaching via videoconferencing? How do/did you find it? Do you feel ridiculous? Do you feel like you've finally made it in the world of corporate commerce? There are of course other possibilities
Anyway...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated... |

I didn't teach via videoconference, but I am familiar with the system as it is used to deliver health care to remote areas of Canada.
I personally think that teaching this way would be terribly clunky - the equipment I was familiar with was state-of-the-art, but it is not real time or real life. I think many of the nuances of communication would be lost, and reactions are more often inappropriate or inadequate. |
