Consider these: (you may have seen it already, but what the hec, it is appropriate for this forum)

He could lead if he could get the lead out.
The soldier decided to desert in the desert.
They were too close to the door to close it.
The buck does funny things when the does are present.
Do you want to present the present to the birthday girl?
How can I intimate this to my most intimate friend?
At the army base, a bass was painted on the bass drum
The dove dove into the bushes.
The farmer can produce produce
Even the Polish polish the furniture
I shed a tear when I saw the tear in my sweater.
The wind was too strong to wind the sail.

Now, there may be a question of pronunciation with different accents that I am not aware of. So, please enlighten me if this is the case, okay?
