Yes i have tried a search, but either the search engine or my comp is playing up. So, i'm new teaching in a Uni in China. Currently enjoying a week off. whats the general timetable for the year in Unis in China? anyone know? I know there is a long break in the new year, but, my time personal table is hard to comprehend - i was just wondering whats the holiday schedule and all. If someone wants to answer cool. If you want to tell me to ask locally - well, thanks for the advice, i want to know the general scheme of things. Does everyone get the same holidays etc? |

You'll get the winter break at Chinese New Year. This should commence about 20th January, 2007 and last about a month or so. Maybe restart 26th February, 2007. The next break is a week from May 1st, one very similar to this National holiday break. You should get Christmas Day and New Years Day off, but that depends on your contract and school. This season, these days fall on a Monday (long weekend).
That's about it until the long summer holiday break, which commences late June. |
