Hi everyone,
I received my TEFL certificate and taught for a short while in the Czech Republic a couple of years ago. I really miss it and plan on going back in December. Since I have not taught for awhile, I fell rusty. Can anyone recommend some good books or materials that I could brush up my skills with?
Also, what is the best way to find someone needing a roomate? I have checked out craigslist.com and happyrentals.com. Anything else?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Tek.
A good refresher is Jim Scrivener's LEARNING TEACHING (published by Macmillan)
You might also find useful as a refresher Michael Swan's PRACTICAL ENGLISH USAGE (published by Oxford University Press).
A really great reference for teaching business students in a one-on-one setting and brand new on the market is BUSINESS ONE : ONE (also published by OUP).
For finding flatmates the following link is really useful:

Hope it helps! |
