Hello all!

I am planing a trip to Rome in Feb. I am looking for a cheap hostel in Rome and maybe a months worth of language lessons. I plan to stay a little over a month. Does any one know of a good "long term" hostel?

I would skip the hostel idea and look on craig's list for people renting rooms during that month. The hostel will cost you an arm and a leg w/out the comfort of a real home. If you know the area where your school is it can help finding an apartment. These places are usually younger professionals who are looking to save some money by renting out an extra room for short term. If they're cool, they'll let you use everything as it was your own.

Last May, I stayed in Rome for two weeks and rented a room from someone on Craig's list. It ended up being some politician running for office in the communist party... there were fliers and posters around the neighborhood for him. Made for an interesting story anyways.
