Fay's name has been brought up on this board before.
I am sure that the Şirinevler branch have had major structural work done after it was damaged in the earthquake. Plastering and painting over the deep cracks was obviously just a temporary measure. |

The Şirinevler branch looked perfectly fine last time l was there. The area is certainly not the prettiest, and the building doesn't look much chop on the outside (bland cement building), but inside it is quite nice. |

The earthquake was 1999. The Sirinevler location of ET has since changed to the Kultur building next door. |

I think I am just going to give up and give in to fate. I may as well just stop even hoping to land a job with the level of stupidity flowing through my fingers...*cry*
Today, when writing to the manager of the Kadikoy 1 branch of ET I made two spelling mistakes that I completely forgot to re-write even though I knew they were there. I just got all panicky and hit the "Send" button.
Here's to hoping "intersted" and "conveinience" become internationally accepted variations before that email is read |

If you follow the logic of the titling of a certain cartoon featuring hypothermic dwarves on Turkish Telly, 'Sirinevler' could be translated as 'Smurf Houses'.
Just thought I'd point that out. |
