This appears in the latest EF advert on these pages.

EF English First encourages transfer and/or promotion within its network of 200 language schools in 16 countries or within the parent company EF Education Ltd.

It is totally false, unless management in the country has done an about-face.

From experience, I can assure would-be teachers that as soon as you move to another school, you RETURN TO GO. In other words, three years' teaching at one EF school counts for exactly nothing at the next EF school, outside of that particular franchise.

If things have changed, I'm sure we're all looking forward to a rebuttal of these facts.

Teachers are normally advised that it 'is not the policy of this school to recognise previous experience'. Rolling Eyes

The organization is DESPERATE Laughing
They've got their "McPlan", but they haven't got the qualified steady employees to follow up at all...surely they've got their "investors" and they've really known how the "reach down" to their pockets Smile

FTs "transfering" from one EF center to another one may and will encounter rather different schools with different kinda practices..at times different kinda agreements or academic products Wink ..so much for one "McEF" in the 16 countries around the world Laughing

If you like "bending over", join the McEF and their McPlans Smile

Has anyone ever tried to contact the "EF Head Office" in Switzerland? Smile
..don't try that one through the EF email system Wink

EF will take any "investors" to follow up their big **** McPlans..see Thai EF link

The EF centers were I've worked "cloned" and started their own ventures too Wink

Peace to the founder of EF
and
cheers and beers to the hard working FTs in China Very Happy
