Even now, two months after the legendary poster HC departed this forum, he remains a source of fascination. He is still averaging over 2 posts a day, despite only being on the forum a month or so! [suffer, Cobra]
What's interesting is that [although I didn't do a full search], I didn't find any HC initiated postings; he didn't seem to start topics, just react to them.
So, who knows where he is, what he's doing? Is it true he got an internet Ph.D and resurfaced in HK under another handle? Someone must know!
Yes, I was bored, and yes, this is the wrong forum. Do your worst. |

Hey MO! Thought if I added my name to this thread it'd get jettisoned for sure. Happy to help out! You know, I've wondered about the canuklehead a few times myself. He and elsie and Dr Bertie drove us all nuts but they seem to leave a gap when their (then) current incarnation flees the scene of the crime. The next generation seems to remain prolific (except for Number 6) but they're cagier about what they post and often less interesting (but no less incendiary and infuriating) because of it.
I hear elsie is planning to announce his death or miraculous resurrection some time in September. Stay tuned, folks! I liked elsie a lot more than his current incarnation. Sunaru and I talked about Forum Psychology and what makes posters do the things they do. It'd be an interesting topic, which means it would do a Titanic, unless you start the thread with 'Sex', 'Beer', 'This just in...', or 'So...'.
So...

This disease occurs to every discussion forum on the web - especially during infancy, such as Dave's. One kid on the playground wants attention and recieves - negative/positive not being a factor. Most susceptible when the users are tight-knit, easy to pick apart people psychologically. Two years from now you won't see a trace of it... |

Perhaps thou refer to "microseconds," or "picoseconds", or "phemtoseconds?"
(See, as it happens, (This is some true proud father in law stuff here guys) one of my sons in law is a famous phemtochemist with a huge laboratory at OSU and a PHD from MIT and he taught me this fancy stuff...so bite me.)
Damn!

Hamish are you just being modest? Sounds like something you would have picked up at Harvard or was that Yale? |

Hamish,
OSU=Ohio State? Oklahoma State? Oregon State? I'm guessing Ohio. |
