many of the jobs for teaching english in japan require in person interviews at various locations in the US.

normally i wouldent have a problem with it however i am currently teaching in china and looking to migrate to japan.

is this common? will i have to fly back to the us to take an interview to get a job in japan? or will i have to fly to japan with no job in hand to take an interview?

is there anything i can do to bypass this or at least streamline it?
