Hi all
I will be coming to Thailand very shortly (beginning of November) and I have a job teaching English already lined up.
My main dilemma is deciding whether living within the city of Bangkok or in the suburbs. Most people told me about the orrendous traffic and polluted air in the city. So may be I should live in the suburbs, was told the school is located two hours from Bangkok. Other people told me that in that case I would be too far from night life.
Can anyone advice me on the issue please? Possibly someone who knows well both the city and the suburbs of Bangkok. The area I would be living in is called Samut Prakan, a coastal town.
Cheers to all !

Just in reply to my previous query about living either in Bangkok city or the suburbs. I am wondering what are the advantages and disadvantages of both possibilities.
I have to decide shortly and paying a deposit and, as I am on a budget, can't afford to loose it in case I have to move. Then if you or anyone knows a bit more on Samut Prakan that would be great !
Many thanks and,
Kind Regards,
