Ms. Xia (spelling?) who now works for the Dalian TV U...has been keeping the originals of newbies (who are requested to send originals) and using them in a kind of ransom game to insure their continued working relationship... she ships them to schools outside of Dalian...as well as making side deals with FTs girlfriends to help in shortchanging the FT....

I met this woman when she worked for Dalian Education where she insisted my company send my pay to the University acct. and then she would disperse my pay...turns out the acct. was her own and when the name didn't match the acct. it was returned to my employer...at that point they begin dealing with my acct. straight...

the guy I was acquainted with who was working under less than hospitable conditions just left with out his originals ..he just got so tired of dealing with this lady that he gave up and went home...anyway never give anyone your originals and if dealing with this University ...guard your paperwork...and watch your paycheck...

I have only one thing to say about this University and its relationship with this woman - BEWARE!!
She has many, many "contacts" some of whom are rather bulky in size, either physically or socially (in the local academic world)

what the previous poster has warned is very true..she does have some "big" help and is not fearful of using them

Isn't there some kind of association of FTs that prevent these kind of things?

Ms Xia is married to a Japanese guy and has a lot of pull in Dalian..she has crafted a system using 'girl friends" to aid in corers ion and if the FT gets wise she resorts to threats...and then the potential for heavy handed sh*t....
the best thing is to just avoid her... as we were working for the same Japanese corporation when I met her..I had some redress and could appeal to management not to let her get her hooks into my money..the company was fare but in the end..I had to use some less than gentlemanly techniques to insure a simple and clean departure...

hey guys.
I've put together a modest list of Dalian schools and universities in my forum, where users can vote on whether a school is good or bad.

I just added this school to the list , and if you wish to give any valuable input (or just simply a "good" or "bad" vote) on that school you may. I've also linked back to this discussion on Dave's.

It might not make a big difference, but it might help to spread the word of warning.
