Hello everyone, I'm new to the boards but I have lived in Japan off and on for about 2 or more years now. I used to be on JET and have experience working as an ALT outside of JET for other companies. I have been looking at eikawas recently and I'm curious what Eikawas everyone thinks are the best to work for. I want to know which Eikawa is the best in terms of how they treat their employees, vacation, days off, apartment, salary, promotions..etc...

Thanks
Asgard

PS. Please do not put other option on the poll, I did not put that option there on purpose.

I doubt anybody on this forum has worked for all of these companies. A little difficult to get an accurate opinion.

If you're basing your decision off this poll, you shouldn't.

I worked for Nova, but know nothing about Geos. I know a little about Aeon, and less about ECC. I can't answer your questions accurately.

Good Point. I edited my initial post. Now with the wording I left you don't have to have actually worked for the company, it could be something you heard, maybe you have a friend to works for one of them or maybe you have some experience yourself. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks, Asgard

...and a lot more if you decide to use the search function. You're better off bumping one of the older threads.

With any of the big 4, working conditions can vary depending on which school you're at. I've worked for two of the big 4 and will say that the NOVA experience was the worst of the two. However, with any of these companies, you could end up with a schedule of 7 classes per day or 4 to 5 classes per day. Any of these companies have ex-employees with nothing positive to say about their experiences as well as those who have given glowing recommendations.
Make your decision based on salary (pretty much the same for all of the big 4), living accomodations, insurance, etc...

Every time you post, that's all I see. Best avatar on this board, by far.
