| I actually said this to a student today. Obviously the conversation was about football and he said (the) Ukraine would beat Scotland this evening. I am not one to tempt fate but.... any idea where this phrase comes from? |

| the opposite of "turn that frown upside down" i.e. on the horizontal "other" side of your face, not the vertical. just guessing. |
