Hi everyone-
I just got accepted to get my tefl certification with tefl worldwide Prague in January, and I was wondering how easy or difficult it would be to find a job once that's over (early Feb.)? I'm planning on staying within Europe, specifically in Germany, but I'm fairly flexible about where I go.
Also, do employers offer insurance once you are hired? or would I have to get it another way?
and finally(kind of ot)... I just graduated from university in may, and of course, have student loans to pay off... would it be possible to defer them for any reason??
thank you v. much!

Contact your student loan company about conditions for deferment and forbearance... They can tell you where the income limits are.
My guess would be that a first year TEFL salary will qualify...
Whether an employer provides insurance is pretty much case by case. In my experience, European employers rarely do, as the social healthcare system in many European countries makes it mostly unnecessary.
Best,

What nationality are you? Europe rarely accept a teacher with no EU passport unless you work illegally (do a search there is loads about this). So look into destinations carefully before you go to avoid disappointment. It depends on the country whether the employer provides insurance, I am in China and have to buy my own or risk ending up in China sick for the rest of my life........ |
