I think it would be a good idea to create a sticky for all the blogs of us teachers. Dave's is a great resource for preparing to teach abroad. Personally, I'd love to see more blogs coming from teachers in Japan. If some of the more experienced teachers covered some frequently asked questions for their country on their blogs, it could help newbies make a more informed choice.

I often try to describe my bad experience teaching in Korea. However, my words are not taken seriously. If I had taken pictures of my apartment and the gigantic roaches I saw everyday, people might realise that the free apartment may not be the greatest benefit. I would have also had my girlfriend take pictures of me sleeping while wearing a coat and toque because my apartment had no heat.

Anyways, it's just a suggestion.

I would have to agree with saint. I recently set up a blog about ESL in Costa Rica that should be updated with information complimentary to that on these message boards. Or perhaps there could be a Blogs section where bloggers can announce blog updates, and readers can find out the information.

Just some thoughts.

Good idea.
I would like to see blogs listed by country/region.

You might add, personal websites that help give information about teaching.

It is a good idea, but you know what? It really isn't needed. I noticed everyone has a link to their blog in their signature. If you make a post about a topic, people can easily see it and click on it if they want to hear more about what you think.
