Hi
I am a teacher who is looking for work in the UAE.My enquiry is i have not been given any feedback for any of the jobs that i have applied for through the tefl websight and is this normal?I have applied for jobs in Kuwait and a couple in the UAE that have been advertised.I beleive i have the correct qualifications as i have a Masters in Education from the No 1 Uni in Australia.I also have 5 years experience teaching English in a Islamic School which follows the Australian Curriculum.I have sent off my online resume and have got confirmation that i have applied but no further interest.If i could get some feedback it would be great. Thanks |

I believe that it is common practice for employers to contact only applicants whose applications have been successful.
If I were you, however, I would follow up on your applications to make sure that they haven't just been mislaid. It's also possible that you are still in the running, but that the application process is slow and the employer hasn't contacted you yet. |
