| Is anyone else sick of providing references for jobs? It seems like lots of employers ask for them, but never follow through with it. Why ask for them in the first place then? |

| This is standard practice in the West; glad they picked it up in China too, although it does help you on occasion if they do not ask your last Chinese employer for his or her opinion on you! |
