I told one of my close Jfriends this and she almost peed on herself while in a fit of laughter. But I am soooo serious.

I wanted to steal one of those Koizumi posters that used to be plastered everywhere in Yokosuka and mail it to him for an autograph. Don't ask me why, but I thought it would be cool. I'm not off my knockers, but the guy--despite all his faults--had nice hair!!

Short of being a stalker, I have noticed that there is no longer a 24hr. guard at his birthplace in Yokosuka anymore, hence, his lack of importance???...So would it be crazy to write him for an autograph...How would someone go about doing so w/o having any more friends laugh to death or think they are crazy???

Very Happy Ok but really I'm not joking...

You should definitely try to get this man's autograph. If you can't find his address then wait for him outside of Yasukuni shrine on August 15th. He'll probably be there.

Koizumi kicks as s. The only politician (now Blair is getting old) that I would describe as cool. See if you can get a lock of his hair.

Okay maybe I have been singing children's songs for a wee bit too long...but he has nice hair, right? And believe it or not, I was at Yasukuni on the 15th (not this year but last) and he was a no-show....

nawlinsgurl,
some want autographs from a number of celebrities all over the world.
Including sports persons.
If you want a politician's autograph ... well .... whatever suits you.
Good luck and let us know how it turned out if you really do try to get it.

I think this is borderline hero-worship. And that's especially dangerous when done toward a politician.

Do you have one of those posters already? I haven't seen a Koizumi poster for a while, only Shinzo Abe these days. Good luck anyway- if you want his signature, go for it Very Happy

Go for it - the man brought style and dare I say it, a touch of individuality to the otherwise drab, lacking-in-style world of J-politics ... long live Lionheart !! Wink
