Hello to all you Spanish forum users
I've been teaching in Italy (Sicily & Genoa) for 2 years and i know feel the urge to teach in Spain. Italy is great but now that my Italian is fluent, i'd rather spend a year in Spain to tweak up my Spanish. I want to go to Sevilla.
I know that many of you teach in Madrid and love it there and probably rightly so, but there is something about Sevilla that is drawing me there.
So, if any of you have any experience living or teaching there, i would be happy to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative .
As far as night life goes, i like drinking and going to bars, pubs and the sorts and i'm sure that Sevilla can cater for those needs...but let me know what you think of the night life there!
Cheers,
eddy |

Just want to bump this up to the top...
After a very active job market in Madrid, I am now in Sevilla. EBC helped me in Madrid, but now I'm more or less on my own.
Can anyone tell me how the job market is here? In Madrid they were constantly looking for teachers. My companies would ask me all the time if I had any friends to recommend.
Any advice or comments on the job market in Sevilla would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Here in Shanghai China I've started hanging out with some Sevillan Flamenco musicians and their friends. I too am feeling a call to Sevilla, to develop English/Chinese/Spanish links and to develop MovieMagic there. We're going there in April in time for the Lenten activities. |
