Hi there,

Is anybody aware of other ways to get short term work contracts in Japan other than through Westgate.

Are there any such things as summer/winter camps.

I don't know of any other place. As for summer camps, those that I've seen advertise always seem to want people who are already in Japan and therefore have a proper visa. It doesn't make sense anyway for someone to sponsor a visa for a couple of weeks' work.

You can come in on tourist visa and go "work" here since it's technically room and board/barter.
