I've got a freshly minted CELTA, a BA in English, and nine months of (pre-CELTA) teaching experience. I want to come to Poland and teach but I am not having much luck with the job boards (or Bridge-Linguatec, the CELTA school I attended). And from what I have been reading here, the best jobs aren't even posted online. I kno, I kno 'I should've been in Poland in Sept...' but I was still in CELTA in Sept.
So my question is: How easily could I find employment if I came to Poland, let's say, a month before the Feb semester started? And if I came to Poland seeking employment, would I have to leave the country anyway to get a visa? I am a U.S. citizen.
I'd be happy to work in Krakow, Opole, Torun, Wroclaw, Gdansk or Poznan.
Thank you for your advice! |
