I know that the question has been posted, but I have searched and searched, and haven't found the answer to my question. I am well aware that there is a good chance there will be NO consequences for an American teaching ileagally.
I am wondering how easy will it be to find clients/students. I would like to have about 25-30 hours a week. Also if possible I'd like to live in southern cities rather than Madrid or Barcelona. Thanks for your time |

I worked in Madrid for a year at a language school and I at first I was working 22 hours a week. That was rare. I dont know if you could find the kind of hours your want on your own. Especially in the summer, pretty much you wont be able to find a lot of hours. my school closed for august and september because students went on vacation and had a hard time returning to study. After the summer, my hours dropped to 15-17 hours/week and students either came late or cancelled. It was pretty hard to get by so I left. I enjoyed my time there, but it's very hard to make a living. Good Luck. |
