Point proven again.

I think it is sad thast some people must make personal attacks, instead of answering the post itself. Would be nice if everyone here replied or debated the actual issue at hand, instead of making spurious personal attacks on the poster.

*Sigh* I do not think that will ever happen, which is indeed what makes it so sad, that only so few feel truly entitled to post here, and the rest of us are just beneath them, and open to whatever contempt and vitrol they wish to spew, sad. MOD EDIT

It's really not very complicated to figure out. Huge demand, relatively low pay, not a lot of the best and brightest will apply, that leaves the runners up folks and the bottom of the barrel types.

They are not really part of the problem, it is the huge demand, low wages, and lack of qualified people willing to work for what to them is peanuts. Sure, some will do it for reasons which are wide ranging, but most of the people with the best educations and skills will not come here to work for so little. Hence, the scabs and the underqualified. They are not the problem though, believe me.

So which group do YOU belong to?

See NR, if you're going to make a post about unqualified scabs, you'd better be above reproach yourself.

Regardless, he's more qualified to teach English than someone who can barely use it.
The problem is China requires a Degree to teach English, but a degree in (for example) soil technology) doesn't mean the holder has the ability to teach English.

at least that degree in soil technolgy (at least if taken in the English language) proves that the holder has sufficient English ability to write a thesis - and further more indicates the holder has the academic ability to pass a 4 year higher educational course. However it doesn't mean the holder has the ability to teach English - but to a simpleton like me, it would at least seem a qualification in the right direction Laughing

Vikdk,
you have asked me your impertinent question(s) many times and I used to answer you appropriately that my track record is beyond reproach and has been looked into by my employers that include an international school based in Hong Kong.

Apart from your derogatory language whenever you are shooting your mouth off about me, you can not make any valid point; by common agreement among most forumates you are nothing but a nuisance here that makes almost no contribution but is trolling all the time.

To enroll at a tertiary institution such as those I studied at one must have relevant basic education that includes what you call a "Bachelor"s degree.

Anyway, why should I answer you in the first place? Who are you? It is you among some that are gatecrashing this forum; you are a kindy pedagogue, and that's not by any stretch of imagination a "teacher". I respect the jobholders of your profession but I say to you here: we are not equals! I can do your job (I have done that), but you have no experience in our field.

So, I submit to you it's in your own best interest if you quit your trolling here!

It's not a state secret is it?

Would it hurt to give a straight answer?
