Because if you are I'd be absolutely grateful if you'd pick me up a copy of Thomas Pynchon's new novel, Against the Day, on the way to the airport--for which I'll reimburse you handsomely! |

Why not just pre-order from amazon.com?
Or that bookshop in Krakow everybody is always talking about?
Better yet, email the publisher telling them that you are a book reviewer for a Polish newspaper and you need a pre-release copy for you to review in time for a review published the week the book comes out. I can put you in touch with a newspaper here who will back that story (altho' you will need to write a review for them). |

Indeed, I've ordered books from Amazon before to Poland even opting for the more expensive 2-4 day international shipping and still have waited over a week for them to arrive....
But that book review idea ain't bad, Mr. Shulgin (though that must be a nom de Dave's). |

Greetings
I've had problems ordering from amazon due to using a Polish address, have had the same problem with Irish addresses too, due to being unable to complete all the required fields on the address page.
An easier option is to order from massolit in Cracow and of course that way you would also be helping this wonderful little sklep survive a while longer.
over and out

In Warsaw they have an American bookshop, which is called, imaginativly enough, the American Bookshop.
If they don't have one in Krakow. They have one in Arcadia, Nowy Swiat and Galleria Mokotow. |

But that bookshop will not order books for you! |
