I have heard kuwait is not a good place to get medical care, but I need some advice. I won't go into too much detail, but stomach pains (minor, but constant), dark yellow urine (sorry, not trying to be too graphic), and a slight fever. I need some help. Price is not a concern. I just want good medical care to end my health problems. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. FEEL FREE TO PM. |

Why don't you go to the doctor. My experience has been that the quality of health care in the Gulf is passable.
You really need to have some tests done. The symptoms you are giving are consistent with hepatitis. |

your civil id states which area you can go to the clinic in - expats pay 1kd and show civil id
for emergencies , go to - depending on your area - adan hospital with 1 kd and civil id
rarely do i go to a private clininc or hospital even when i had full coverage, but then again i live 200meters from a govt (1 kd) clinic
drink plenty of water - seems you're dehydrated |

Medical care in Kuwait is good and you have nothing to fear on that count.
Under your medical insurance you can use the local clinics, get a referral to an out patients clinic, or go to the emergency room at your local hospital.
One correction to the above prices, at the hospitals (Adan in your case) you have to pay KD 2. the local clinic is KD1. This price includes treatment and any medicines prescribed.
Sounds like a kidney infection/condition, drink lots of water, (3-4 liters per day) and cut out any other forms of drink. |
