Hi there,
I've included the email address at BAE Systems (as they are now known) of one of the human resources types who handled my application to go out to Saudi to work for them. She should be able to give you more information but I can tell you that all applications for English teaching jobs are handled in the UK. Interviews are not conducted in Saudi, or so they told me.
Indeed, when I applied I had to travel from Brighton to Warton near Preston in Lancashire. They paid my rail fare and for a night in a hotel so I wasn't out of pocket. However, despite holding the necessary qualifications and doing well at the interview, I never got the job. After passing the formalities in Warton they forward ones application to Saudi for final approval. This was in January 2006 and I'm still waiting for final approval!
From April to August 2006 I worked in KSA for another organization (I'm not going into all that again!) and while I was there I heard the rumour that the only applications to BAE Systems which ever receive final approval are those of friends of people already working there. I don't know if that's true but it wouldn't surprise me.
Anyway, try sending this lady an email and she should be able to give you more advice. Good luck.
