4000 RMB + accommodation + utilities, near Beijing, for 12 hours a week.
Enough to live on?
And how easy is it to supplement this with privates? And what sort of rate would you suggest?

So if your cheese ration back home is on the measly side then that 4K could bring you great happiness and the extra bonus of beef and wine. However I tend to think that in or around Beijing most established FT's would regard 4K as an insult (especially if your qualified) - a wage which would rather cramp the possibilities of "living it up in town"- which after all must be one of the main reasons for living in or around the big B!!!!! |
