I went to China to teach English this summer through Global Crossroads. They advertise that they will pay you for your teaching, pay for accommodation and travelling, if you pay a fee upfront. However, the school had to foot my accommodation bill and nothing else was given as promised. I worked in China for free under Global Crossroads. DO NOT EVER PAY A FEE TO A COMPANY TO WORK ABROAD!!!! I did not know this going into it, and now I do. DO NOT PAY A FEE TO WORK ABROAD!!! There are too many great companies out there to go through that pay you!
