i was thinking of buying and sending a canon camera back to canada as a gift to my parents. i was wondering if the warrenties on cameras can be used in canada? thats the big factor here before i decide to buy. anyone been thru this situation and know?

Short answer- No
You can I think get cameras that have international warranties. |

| Are cameras cheaper in Japan than Canada? Cause my camera is kinda chooched and I need to buy a new one. |

| Short answer: no. There are precious few things that are actually cheaper in Japan than in Canada. Hehe... Fill your suitcases with pineapples before you leave Japan to go to Canada though. |
