Hello all,
I've been investigating a few positions available in the southern half of Germany as well as the issues surrounding getting rental accommodation in the country.
As I don't speak or read the language anywhere near the standard required to decipher a legalese housing contract I was wondering if there are any folks who could give me a piece or two of advice on the pitfalls and traps that could catch a newbie in the German rental housing market.
Any snippets would be great.

Do you mean a Mietvertrag (rental contract) or actually renting out a house? I can help you with the former... |
