Greetings!
Has anyone ever done the summer camp in China through Global TEFL, run by a gentleman by the name of John Zhou? Was it a positive/negative experience?
Also, when will job postings appear on Dave's ESL for summer camps in Asia? I don't want to miss my opportunity to apply!
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Summer camps are usually a lot of work and time, so there is never really any good chance to see the country. For this reason, I suggest you only really look at Korean summer camps as they pay the highest. If you can find a good paying on in China, go for it. But you won't have a lot of free time, so it doesn't really matter where you are. Taiwan also has them, but they usually want people already in Asia as they don't tend to offer a lot for airfare.
The Korean ones will probably start advertising sometime around May/June for July/August camps (many in August). |

Run as fast and as far away from this summer camp "organizer" as you can. It's sheer hell, trust me. I know from first-hand experience (sadly, I went through it two times!!). You can PM me for more info, but I'm not going to bore the forum readers yet again with my feelings about this guy and his highly unorganized organization. |
